Foamy Fun.
The Spark team from Springfield, Missouri recently traveled to Omaha NE with the Colorfoam5k to provide our DJ services for the race. With over 1,500 attendees and tons of foam - we were ready to bring the "spark" that made this event a success.
After waking up at nearly 5 a.m. to get setup, everyone was ready to go when racers started arriving. Starting out we engaged everyone with our warm up routine that included fun dance moves we incorporated. After racers were ready to go, we began the huge countdown with all four waves, and racers were on their way (of course with foam to follow). Minutes later the first racers of the day started to cross the finish line, as volunteers were encouraging them with drinks and food! As more and more racers finished the race, we started the dancing, and as you can guess it was the gathering of everyone for the wobble, and multiple other songs that made it a great end to a great morning.
We were happy to be apart of this event in Omaha, and all the things we got to see and learn, is something the Spark team will always remember. Now we can't wait until our next stop with the ColorFoam5k tour in Columbia, Missouri on August 30th. Once again, let's get foamy!
